• Account information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
• Profile information: Author bio and any profile details you choose to provide.
• Content: Blog posts, excerpts, cover images, and other content you create on the platform.
• Usage data: Pages visited, post views, and interactions with the platform.
• LinkedIn data (if connected): Basic profile information (name, LinkedIn ID) and organization/company page access needed solely to post content on your behalf. We do not store your LinkedIn access tokens beyond what is required to perform the requested action.

3. LinkedIn Integration & Data Use

Shameless Business integrates with LinkedIn to allow authors to share their blog posts to their personal LinkedIn profiles and/or LinkedIn Company Pages they administer. When you connect your LinkedIn account, we:

• Request OAuth authorization using LinkedIn's official API.
• Use the scopes openid, profile, email, w_member_social, w_organization_social, and r_organization_admin solely to post on your behalf.
• Never post to LinkedIn without your explicit action (clicking "Share to LinkedIn").
• Never sell or share your LinkedIn data with third parties.
• Allow you to disconnect your LinkedIn account at any time from your profile settings.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the platform.
• To publish and distribute your blog content as you direct.
• To manage your subscription and process payments via Stripe.
• To share content to LinkedIn when you explicitly request it.

• To analyze usage patterns and improve the platform.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• LinkedIn: When you connect your account to share posts (see Section 3).
• Stripe: For subscription payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Service providers: Infrastructure and hosting providers necessary to operate the platform, bound by confidentiality obligations.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it. LinkedIn tokens are revocable by you at any time and are not stored beyond session use.
