1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account and publishing content on Shameless Business ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform's publishing features.
2. Content Standards
All content published on Shameless Business must comply with the following standards:
- No nudity or sexually explicit material. Posts containing nudity, sexually explicit images, or suggestive content will be rejected. This applies to all images, text, and embedded media.
- No hate speech or discrimination. Content targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin is strictly prohibited.
- No harassment or threats. Content designed to harass, threaten, intimidate, or bully any person or organisation is not permitted.
- No misinformation. Deliberately false or misleading information presented as fact is prohibited.
- No spam or deceptive content. Repetitive, low-quality, or deliberately misleading posts are not allowed.
- No illegal content. Content that violates applicable laws, infringes intellectual property rights, or promotes illegal activity is prohibited.
3. Language & Profanity
Shameless Business is a professional publishing platform. As such:
- Excessive or gratuitous profanity in post titles, excerpts, or body content is discouraged and may result in content moderation.
- LinkedIn sharing will be automatically disabled for posts detected to contain profanity or language that violates LinkedIn's Professional Community Policies. This is enforced to protect your professional reputation and comply with LinkedIn's platform rules.
- Posts may be published on Shameless Business without LinkedIn sharing if they contain mild profanity, but content violating LinkedIn's policies cannot be shared to that platform.
4. LinkedIn Integration
When you connect your LinkedIn account to Shameless Business, you agree to the following:
- You authorise the Platform to post content on your behalf to LinkedIn when you explicitly trigger the Share action.
- All content shared to LinkedIn must comply with LinkedIn's Professional Community Policies.
- The Platform performs automated content checks before allowing LinkedIn sharing. Posts containing profanity, explicit content, or policy-violating material will have LinkedIn sharing disabled.
- You remain solely responsible for any content shared to LinkedIn through the Platform.
- LinkedIn sharing is a convenience feature only. The Platform does not guarantee successful delivery and is not liable for any LinkedIn API limitations or account restrictions.
5. Image Policy
All images uploaded or linked in blog posts are subject to automated and manual review:
- Images containing nudity, partial nudity, or sexually suggestive content are strictly prohibited and will cause post rejection.
- Images depicting graphic violence, self-harm, or disturbing content are not permitted.
- You must own the rights to any image you use, or it must be licensed for commercial use.
- The Platform uses automated AI moderation to detect policy-violating images. Posts flagged by the system will not be published or shared to LinkedIn.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Publishing on Shameless Business requires an active paid subscription. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all original content you publish. By publishing on the Platform, you grant Shameless Business a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content on the Platform and its associated social channels.
8. Account Termination
Shameless Business reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms, post prohibited content, or abuse the Platform. Termination may be immediate and without prior notice in cases of serious violations.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Shameless Business does not guarantee uninterrupted service, and is not liable for any loss of content, revenue, or opportunity arising from Platform downtime or content moderation decisions.
10. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Users will be notified of material changes via email where possible.
